Sparkbrook ca. 1889 Light Touring Tricycle
The Sparkbrook Manufacturing Co. was situated at 72-74 Payne’s Lane in Coventry and built bicycles from 1883 till 1926.
Their tricycle range was popular and the models were improved year by year.
This Light Touring Model has 41“ rear wheels and a 26” front wheel.
The wheels are tangentially spoked and fitted with ball bearings and a differential gear.
A band brake provides the stopping power.
