Triumph 1925 Ricardo 500cc OHV 4-valve.
The Triumph “Riccy” made its appearance in 1920 as a TT racer, designed by Harry Ricardo.
It appeared in the standard production range in 1922. The engine features a 4-valve head, cast iron cylinder, aluminium piston and two exhaustports.
Fitted with an internal expanding front brake and Druid forks, the Triumph “R” was the Top-of-the-range model and is a very sought after superbike nowadays.
This Triumph “R” was restored ca. 25 years ago by the standards of the time.
