The Matchless G80CS scrambler had an illustrious career as a scrambler.
The lightweight (comparatively) Matchless engine powered machine, was an easy machines to handle.
The model was offered with a full lighting kit and battery, a dual seat, all alloy, virtually square 86 x 85.5mm engine, alloy mudguards and 3 gallon fuel tank.
The result was and remains, arguably one of the most handsome motorcycles ever produced.
There is a article in Oct 2002 Classic Bike Guide featuring the Matchless G80CS.
The bike is finished in a distinctively dark red colour.
This very smart looking G80CS in very good restored condition.
