New Hudson 1913 499 cc s.v single “Model III B” frame & engine # 2272
New Hudsons were produced in Birmingham between 1909 and 1933. A
fter the war production of light motorcycles with Villiers engines was taken up again, but by then the New Hudson name was owned by the BSA company.
In veteran and vintage days the make built both two strokes and four strokes.
This Model III B is a good example of a sturdy and reliable veteran motorcycle.
It is equipped with Bosch magneto, aluminium footboards, Brown&Barlow carburettor and Armstrong 3 speed hub gear and clutch.
This machine is a well sorted older restoration.
