Alcyon racing bicycle 1930s
This racing bike generally looks sound and can be identified as French Alcyon by the capital “A” in the chainwheel.
Thee is no paint present anymore and the bicycle is covered in surface rust but without structural damage.
The bike features a leather racing saddle, original pedals with toe clips and tyre pump.
The rims are made of wood, size 24″ to take 26 x 1 or comparable tubes.
To change the gears, the rear wheel can be turned around from left to right, as there are two different rear sprockets.
The horizontal upper frame tube is approx. 76cm high.
She has a Belgian license tax tag, dated 1941.
This tag was required for public road use.
